Admission criteria
The Governing Body will aim to ensure that oversubscription criteria is reasonable, clear, objective, procedurally fair, and compliant with all relevant legislation, including equalities legislation. This means that the oversubscription criteria will not unfairly disadvantage, whether directly or indirectly, any child based on a protected characteristic or economic disadvantage.
In the event that there are more applicants than available places, our governing body will apply the following oversubscription criteria, in order of priority given:
· LAC and previously LAC, including those who have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted
· Children with siblings currently at the Academy (Not nursery), who will still be in the school by September 2025
· Children who live nearest to the Academy

To apply for a place in reception (before September 2025);
Children in Birmingham can start school (reception) in the September after their fourth birthday. For example: If your child was born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021, they will be able to start school in September 2025. Parents can apply for a place in the Autumn of the year before their child turns 4.Please follow the link below to apply to any primary school in Birmingham (including us).

Applications open on 1 October 2024 for primary school applications for entry in September 2024. The closing date is 15 January 2025 at 11:59pm
To apply for a place mid-year (in year application)
You are very welcome to apply to join our school at any point in the year.
If we do not have a space available at this current moment in time, you are invited to join our waiting list. We will contact you as soon as a space becomes available. You can call our office on 0121 706 2165 to find out where your child is on the waiting list (this can change on a daily basis so is well worth regularly checking in).
