Our principal goal is for all our children to thrive, and we have the highest expectations of our children who have special needs or disabilities. Below you will be able to see how we adopt an inclusive approach across school. If you have any concerns or questions, Mr Cheshire, who is our Assistant Headteacher for SEND and also a DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead), will be more than happy to see you and discuss what we can do to help. We wanted to share a helpful new resource with our families. A short video has been added to the Birmingham Local Offer website introducing the Language, Learning and Strategic Support Service.
The video provides an overview of the team and explains the support they offer to children, families and schools. It’s a great way to understand the wider services available as part of SEND and multi-agency support in Birmingham.
