Easter Holiday Art Project - WB 06.04.20
Details of the art project for week 1 of the Easter holidays can be found on the home page of the school website. If you email your teacher pictures of your finished entries by Friday 10 April, we will each select one winner from our class and they will receive a £20 Amazon voucher. Click here for some ideas on the sorts of things you can do. Good luck!

Action for Happiness from Mrs Liversidge: Call a loved one to catch up and really listen to them. Which of your family or friends would really like to hear your voice today? Ask if you can call them for a chat and brighten their day, as well as yours!

Wednesday 8th April
ACTION FOR HAPPINESS from Mrs Liversidge-Take five minutes to sit still and breathe. Repeat regularly. Try to find a quiet space and be still. You could try shutting your eyes and listen to the sounds. Can you hear your heart beat and the sound of your breath? Enjoy this moment and come back to do it whenever you need some calm.

Tuesday 7th April
Action for Happiness from Mrs Liversidge: Share what you are feeling and be willing to ask for help. Try not to keep your thoughts inside if they are causing you to feel worried. Have a chat with someone and don't stop until you can find something to smile about.

Action for Happiness from Mrs Liversidge: Go nature spotting today. Even in a city, life is all around. Can you see any birds flying overhead carrying twigs for their nests? Can you hear or see any bees, ladybirds or butterflies outside or through the window? Are there any new plants or flowers starting to bloom in your garden or from where you can see from your window?

Make a list of all the things you have enjoyed about today. How long is your list?
Action for Happiness from Mrs Liversidge: Mentally scan down your body and notice what it is feeling. Give your shoulders a roll, have a slow deep breath and slowly stretch out each part of your body. Enjoy how strong your body feels today!

Action for Happiness from Mrs Liversidge: Notice when you are tired and take a break as soon as possible. Take time to stretch and drink water during the day to refresh yourself. Monday 23rd March Action for Happiness from Mrs Liversidge - Take an unusual route and notice what looks different. From your window, can you see anything starting to grow on the trees or the flower beds? Watch every day and notice when something does. If you're out for a walk, remember to keep 2 metres away from anyone walking past, but look at the differences in the houses you go past.
